Akinwole II Omoboriowo is a visionary energy leader with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure development, strategic management, and regulatory policy.
He holds an Executive MBA from Quantic Business School (USA) and executive education credentials from Imperial College Business School and Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
A Fellow of the Certified Board of Administrators of Nigeria and the Institute of Management Consultants, he has received several awards, including the Vanguard Distinguished Nigerian of Merit Award.
As Chairman and CEO of Genesis Energy Holdings, he drives innovative energy solutions across Africa and serves on advisory boards for Oxford University, Shell Foundation, and the African Energy Chamber.
Engr. Simon Shaibu

Simon Shaibu is the Executive Vice President, Technical Services at Genesis Energy, where he oversees engineering design, project delivery, and plant operations across the Group’s portfolio.
With extensive experience in power systems, plant optimization, and infrastructure commissioning, he ensures operational reliability, technical excellence, and safety across all assets.
Simon is widely respected for his results-driven approach, strategic execution, and technical leadership in delivering innovative and sustainable energy projects across Africa.
Melissa F. Sikwila
Executive Vice President, Project Development & Investments

Melissa Sikwila is a dual-qualified solicitor and senior executive leading Project Development & Investments at Genesis Energy Holdings.
She manages the Group’s expansion, capital formation, and project finance across a 4.5GW pipeline in Africa.
A British-trained lawyer with experience in trade finance, M&A, and infrastructure law, she has advised on complex cross-border transactions exceeding $500 million.
A global speaker and climate advocate, Melissa has featured at COP, Africa Energy Forum, and Powering Africa Summit.
She holds multiple qualifications from Brunel University, LSE, Imperial College, and the University of Cape Town and is pursuing executive education at Harvard Business School.
Ebenezer Olusesi

With extensive experience in treasury, audit, and investment management, he provides strategic financial leadership to ensure robust governance and sustainable growth.
Ebenezer is skilled in financial planning, capital allocation, and performance optimization, combining technical expertise with sound business judgment.
A results-oriented finance leader, he continues to strengthen Genesis Energy’s financial systems and supports the company’s mission to deliver long-term value through efficient and transparent financial management.
Vivian Olloh
Snr Vice President Corporate Finance & MD CDEO

She leads the Group’s capital agenda across both corporate and project finance, and drives growth through M&A, the cultivation of strategic equity partners across Genesis Group’s platform companies in grid, renewables, and gas/flexible assets, and expansion into new frontier markets.
She also provides executive oversight of Procurement & Commercial.
Her work has shaped some of the market’s defining deals, including the Oando Energy Resources US$1.69bn acquisition of ConocoPhillips’ Nigerian upstream assets, the Azura-Edo 459MW IPP, the Helios-Vitol acquisition of Oando’s downstream business, the First Hydrocarbon Nigeria reserves-based lending facility for OML 26, and the landmark sale of a majority stake in Interswitch — transactions that have collectively earned recognition from EMEA Finance, IJ Global, African Investor, and the African Bank Awards.
She began her career as a Senior Associate Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
She is a Chartered Accountant (ICAN), a SEC-Sponsored Individual, and co-author of the CBN Bankers’ Committee paper
